Becky DeGrossa spent many years in the corporate world before becoming a therapist. Once she opened her private practice, she, just like everyone else, struggled with marketing. Figuring out the marketing puzzle was such fun for her, that she decided she liked marketing therapists more than being one, so she launched Counselingwise.
Since 2012, CounselingWise has helped over 200 therapists achieve 1000's of page 1 rankings in Google. This experience has allowed them to refine a 9-step roadmap for successfully marketing private therapy practices. Becky teaches this roadmap in Private Practice University, and Counselingwise still does this work for therapists who want to fast-track the process.
In his 2017 book, “Private Practice Essentials”, published by PESI, Inc., author Howard Baumgarten said that Becky DeGrossa has "revolutionized the online therapy website building process” with her method.
A few fun facts about Becky:
-She has traveled to 25 countries (and wants to travel to 25 more!)
- She was once trapped in a car with a 100-pound baboon — the scariest experience in her life
- She has mastered the art of “Op” language (demo available), and still speaks “Op" with her 91-year old friend during their weekly phone calls.
Melody Wilding is a licensed social worker who help high-achievers mentally and emotionally thrive in their careers. When Melody started her practice a few years ago, she had zero clients and no credibility. Today she has a client waitlist, has given a TEDx talk with over 15,000 views, and has been featured in dozens of top media publications from Inc, Forbes, and Fast Company to Cosmo, Shape, and Glamour. Melody is also the creator of The Media Darling Method, an online course that teaches therapists how to land major publicity that grows their private practice and personal brands.
Fun facts:
- Melody comes from a family of entrepreneurs. She got her name because her parents ran multiple businesses in the music and entertainment industries.
- Melody is a Jersey girl born and raised. And she has the accent to prove it.
- While Melody loves connecting, she is an INFJ and dedicated to helping other introverted and highly sensitive therapists do business in a way that fits their personal style.
Melissa is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Work-Life Balance (WLB) Business Coach who after crushing her three-year financial goals for NewVu Therapy in her first year of private practice (while working an ideal schedule) sought a new challenge and increasing levels of freedom, impact, and wealth.
In the same month that Melissa began crushing five-figure months, she followed another calling and ultimately founded a non-profit, Professionals United for Parkland, to facilitate healing and growth in the aftermath of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas school shooting.
She continues to expand the reality of her dream life through helping high-achieving entrepreneurs whose hustle is sabotaging their families to create work life balance so they can scale their businesses, enjoy their success with the ones they love most, and even have time for themselves.
Through each of her endeavors (including starting a family!) Melissa has been blown away by the power of a clear, aligned intention and a heart of love and service in bringing more and more people into the achievement of a fulfilled life.
