Susan Block has a successful marriage and family therapy practice in South Florida. She is extremely passionate about her work with couples and individuals. Her greatest passion is assisting couples in building a strong and solid foundation in their relationship. Susan also works with individuals who desire personal growth and want to take control over their lives. Susan customizes sessions to fit her clients' specific needs offering Home-Based Marriage and Couples Counseling in South Florida.

Susan earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University in 1997 and completed her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in 2004. She is also an active member of The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).

Susan is a former elementary school teacher with over 15 years experience. Susan realized early in her teaching career that her real passion was counseling in a private practice setting. While teaching full time, she went back to grad school, became a licensed therapist and opened up her practice. Susan has successfully transitioned out of teaching and couldn't be happier with her decision. Susan believes therapy is her calling and wants others who desire a career change to GO FOR IT!
