Dr. Lori Eickleberry is a Licensed Psychologist, Adjunct Professor, and founder of three successful mental health clinics in Fort Lauderdale and Miami: a nonprofit, a group private practice, and an intensive outpatient program. She obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University in 2005 and has taught at the doctoral level since 2007.
She conducts numerous workshops in Motivational Interviewing and CBT therapies, and is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT). She is a member of the American Psychological Association, Division 50, the Association for Contextual Behavior Science, and the Association for Cognitive Behavioral Therapies. She is Board Certified in Behavioral and Cognitive Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology.
She works in the assessment and treatment of diverse disorders and difficulties, such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, eating disorders, and personality disorders. She uses a variety of empirically-based treatments, such as DBT, ACT, UP, traditional CBT, and MI in order to improve treatment outcomes.
