Dr. Merriman is an avid Camp Gladiator, mom to a farmer and a fireman, and Boombie to Court and Beau. She and her state trooper hubby farm and ranch in the middle of no where Texas. She has been in private practice since 1999 and has started practices in both the big city and in a tiny country town (both insurance based and cash). She is a published author, national speaker, Associate Dean, Associate Professor of Counseling, and lover of supervision.

I am Licensed Clinical Psychologist, specializing in assisting the transgender and gender diverse community, along with those with questions or exploring their gender and/or sexual identity. I am an advocate in promoting equality for all, regardless of gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, race, or disability.

In addition, I consult with and offer workshops on: diversity, inclusion, and Ally training, for individuals, groups and businesses large and small.
